John Glidden has been involved with the Public Finance sector for over 25 years. His investment banking career includes serving as Managing Director and Head of Public Finance of Prudential Securities where he managed the underwriting and financial advisory services to States, Counties, Municipalities and their Authorities throughout the United States. Today, Mr. Glidden concentrates his Public Finance Investment Banking activities in the New York metropolitan area with specialties in General Obligation, Health Care, Industrial Revenue and Utility financings.
Further broadening his investment banking experience, Mr. Glidden has served in numerous voluntary positions, acting as Trustee for a number of private and public healthcare institutions. He also served as commissioner of the NJ Governor’s Commission on Capital Formation for Health Care Facilities and is a past Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Bergen County Utilities Authority.
Mr. Glidden served in the Viet Nam War as a USAF C-130 Command Pilot and continues his service today through elected and appointed positions in his hometown of Closter, NJ.
Mr. Glidden received his BA degree from Union College and presently holds FINRA Series 7, Series 53 and Series 63 licenses.
